Coyote STEAM-Powered Maker Club. Where Learning Matters.
In the Coyote STEAM-Powered Maker Club, we are committed to learning through the 4Cs: critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creativity. We invite you to learn more about Coyote STEAM-Powered Maker Club and discover a new kind of a club. We meet on Thursday afternoons from 3:15 - 4:00 p.m.
About Our Club
Join us in celebrating the first year of the Coyote STEAM-Powered Maker Club.  Thirty-three 3rd - 5th grade club members will meet on Thursday afternoons. Since our focus is on STEAM related topics (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics), we will work on activities such as circuits, flight, robotics, video creation, stop motion, Green Screens, coding, graphic design, and structural engineering with K'Nex, Hanz Moto and Lego bricks.

Meet the Staff
September 21, 2017
Dina D'Amore is the sponsor of the club, and she is assisted by Ms. Saba and Mr. O'Reilly. A big thank you goes out to each one of our staff members who help out.
Membership Explained
September 8, 2017
In order to apply for the club this year, students were to complete an essay or a video telling why they wanted to be in the club. The last step was to have club paperwork filled out by parents/guardians.
Hummingbird Duo Robotics Kit
Thank you Anna Adam & Holly Landez for teaching us today about the Hummingbird Duo Robotics Kit. Students learned how to program LED lights to turn red, blue and green after setting up the "brain" of a robot. Next step for us is to build a robot! What a great way to end our first year as a Maker Club!
